It Happened Here

Gustavo Dias-Vallejo, curated by Weronika Dwornik

21 June | Time: 14:00 | Venue: Heeley People's Park

ABOUT THE EVENT

Every neighbourhood is filled with stories that we can't see: the corner where someone had their first kiss, the wall where you left your bike before it was stollen, or that bench where you saw someone for the last time.

It Happened Here is a participatory event/walk where people are invited to recall meaningful events in their lives that happened in specific places around a particular area. Participants guide the audience through a collective walk, sharing their personal (however big or small) experiences and connections with the neighbourhood.

In parallel, an exhibition shows photographs, posters, and audio recordings of the stories.
