Arts on the run: CALL FOR TRUSTEES
Want to join our board as a trustee?
Since 2021, the steering committee of Migration Matters Festival were invited to take over Sheffield based arts charity, Arts on the Run, which was set up to support refugee and migrant artists and provide opportunities and platforms.
Arts on the Run is currently expanding as an organisation and are looking for new trustees (including a secretary and treasurer) to be part of this exciting next chapter.
The charity is currently in the process of creating a callout and brief for the kinds of experience we feel would support this next phase of development.
If you are interested in being part of the board and would like to be informed about the upcoming callout please Voluntary Director, Sam at: sam@artsontherun.org
CREATIVE JOURNEYS: MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME
We were proud to lead on our very first Creative Journeys programme in 2021 which supported 11 emerging/aspiring artists to refine and gain valuable insight into their artistic practice. This was showcased on the 15th July 2021 as part of the festival programme.
Please look out for more mentorship and guidance opportunities for aspiring artists in 2024.
Generously supported by Arts Council England
