Exploring "Home" Through the Anti Racist Archive
Centre for Equity and Inclusion
20th June | 18:00 | Soft Ground
The Anti-Racist Archive enables racially marginalised communities to creatively document ideas about important social issues. From October 2023 to June 2024 we have been focusing on the theme of "home". How do we define home? What is the experience of losing home for displaced and diasporic communities? How do we create home in hostile and oppressive spaces?
This event will showcase a series of creative responses to these questions about home. It will feature talks and performances from University of Sheffield students, a literary group for young women of colour called “The Lit Collective”, and special guests.
