migration matters Festival Closing party
Featuring: Jamz Supernova, Mohamed Errebbaa & Tagna Groove, Sheffield One World Choir, DJs Román Rocha, Kom Kom and F U A N I S A.
22 June | Time: 19:00 | Venue: SADACCA
Goodbyes are hard, but they’re not so hard when it’s the Migration Matters Festival closing party!
Hosting more incredible sounds from across the world, this will be a night to remember.
Our sensational lineup includes the creative force to be reckoned with Jamz Supernova, of BBC Radio 1Xtra fame.
She uses sonics to tell a story, and her DJ set is sure to get the party started.
Jazz, soul and Afrofunk musicians Tagna Groove with Mohamed Errebbaa will present Gnawa music in a contemporary international context. Think bass-heavy dance grooves and global music.
And festival regulars One World Choir, a community choir for asylum seekers and refugees, will also join us for a final farewell to the festivities of 2024.
There will be three DJs performing on the night as below:
Román Rocha, resident DJ at Sheffield’s dance music icons ( and our friends in collaboration ) La Rumba.
Mig Mat stalwart Kom Kom, a British-Khmer DJ based in Sheffield, UK. She is a founding member of the Barang! Collective (party music from wherever) and a resident DJ for Rebel Soul at Shambala Festival.
Sheffield-based DJ F U A N I S A, who mixes different genres with a particular love for Afro-fusion and tropical vibes.
There will also be food to purchase from the SADACCA kitchen.
Be there - or miss out.
