Join Dr Patricia Nabuco Martuscelli from the University of Sheffield and Dr Joao Freitas de Castro Chaves from the Brazilian Federal Public Defender’s Office at this talk exploring children’s experiences of forced migration and the asylum process. In particular, they will look at the refugee crisis in Venezuela that has seen 7.7 million Venezuelans leave their country due to humanitarian and economic turmoil.
