Becoming British - Work in Progress
Lora Krasteva
15th June | 18:00 - 00:00 | Venue: Soft Ground
Inspired by her own experience of gaining British Citizenship - join Lora Krasteva and other migrant artists throughout a 6-hour durational performance challenging and interrogating national identity, notions of nationality and belonging.
During the performance, an installation will be built around the performers, so you can engage with interviews, artwork and lived experience.
The performance has been informed by interviews, research, workshops and an exhibition of the same name which ran in 2022. Every hour will be different. Every audience will experience the work in a different way.
This is the first time this work is being shared with audiences - as a work in progress it means it is an experiment, and not a full production
